Amusing Ash is what we call him. He is the boy in the bunch. Rambunctious and super playful. He loves dragging toys to the top of the kitty condo and hide them, or drop them. Ash has perfected the kitty butt wiggle and loves to play with other cats. He is happy to sit with you or on you. He find computers very interesting, and if he could would probably be on the internet. He will hunt down anything you throw at him. He is amusing to say the least. Favorite toy: the ball around the track. The adoption fee of $85 includes distemper vaccinations, rabies, and negative FIV/Leukemia test. We do a vet check to verify that current pets are up to date on vaccinations and are spayed/neutered. We also verify with the landlord that pets are allowed as well as a reference check to make sure the animal will be well cared for. All of our animals are housed in foster homes throughout the county. We do not have a shelter building that you can visit. All adoptions are completed at a time and place that is to be determined by the STAR representative and adopter. A receipt and all vet records will be provided. We accept cash or check only. There is a $20 fee for a returned check. The application will be reviewed and references checked within 5-7 business days. Please contact your landlord, vet and references to let them now that we will be checking with them and allow them to talk to us. We will contact you with our decision as soon as possible. We do consider applications outside of the Broome County area but we do not ship animals by plane.
