Oh Olive, what a cute little peanut you are. She is the shyest of her siblings. She is quite clever. She has figured out that dark places are an advantage for her. She loves to play and is very curious. When she is ready she will curl up on your lap for a good long cuddle. The adoption fee of $100 includes distemper vaccinations as well as negative FIV/Leukemia test. A spay/neuter deposit of $35 is also required and will be refunded upon proof of surgery. We do a vet check to verify that current pets are up to date on vaccinations and are spayed/neutered. We also verify with the landlord that pets are allowed and a reference check to make sure the animal will be well taken care of. All of our animals are housed in foster homes throughout the county. We do not have a shelter building that you can visit. All adoptions are completed at a time and place that is to be determined by the STAR representative and adopter. A receipt and all vet records will be provided. We accept cash or check only. There is a $20 fee for a returned check. The application will be reviewed and references checked within 5-7 business days. Please contact your landlord, vet and references to let them now that we will be checking with them and allow them to talk to us. We will contact you with our decision as soon as possible. We do consider applications outside of the Broome County area but we do not ship animals by plane.
